As reported in The Independent the Govt is considering supplementing
children with omega 3 rich fish oil. London Nutritionist Yvonne
Bishop-Weston says "Apart from the issues of dioxins in fish, there just
aren't enough fish in the sea to make this viable" Health Promotions
advisors are being urged to consider a newly discovered type of Algae as an
alternative. It's sustainably produced, free from toxins, and contains good
levels of long chain fatty omega 3 fatty acids - vegetarian DHA and EPA.
